Update -> 0.2.5
Hello!
I'm back with a minor update outlined in the previous post. As you may have noticed, I am posting quite rarely nowadays, as school started for me. In any case, I will still be working on this game, and hopefully posting every weekend, but that may change without notice. Sorry!
Now, version 0.2.5 features some small updates, some from the previous post as well as some other minor ones I made on the fly. Here is a changelog:
- Better spacing for game over screen
- Bigger hitbox for switches (making it easier to press on them at higher speeds)
- Smoothed jittery movement for the obstacles switches and powerups
- Added a scrolling texture to the ground to add an extra layer of movement
- Slightly better UI for powerups, will be improved on later (not sure when)
So really minor things, as you can see. However for the next post I will be adding a pretty major thing:
The settings panel!
It will handle audio levels and haptic feedback (will be added later, but the settings icon will still be included), as well as be able to reset your progress for the game. Only the last item will actually do anything so far, because I haven't actually implemented haptic feedback or sound effects, however that is down the road, don't worry :)
